Getting Started

SlabScore helps trading card collectors decide which cards are worth grading by calculating your potential ROI across PSA, CGC, BGS, TAG, and ACE grading companies. Use the web app to manage your portfolio, or install the Chrome extension to analyze cards directly on eBay, TCGPlayer, and PriceCharting.

How does the grading score work?

SlabScore calculates a 0–100 score based on four factors: profit potential (40%), grade premium (25%), market depth (20%), and downside protection (15%). Scores above 80 indicate a strong grade candidate, while scores below 25 suggest skipping.

What sites does the extension support?

The Chrome extension works on eBay (US, UK, CA, AU), TCGPlayer, and PriceCharting product pages. It automatically detects the card and shows a floating badge with your ROI analysis.

What card types are supported?

SlabScore supports Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, hockey, and other sports cards — anything with price data on PriceCharting.

Do I need an account?

No. The extension and web app work without an account for basic analysis. Create a free account to save cards to your portfolio and track your collection. Upgrade to Pro for cloud sync, higher scan limits, and advanced features.

Where do the prices come from?

All card prices (raw, PSA 8, PSA 9, PSA 10, sales volume) come from PriceCharting, which aggregates real market data from completed sales across major marketplaces.

The extension matched the wrong card. What do I do?

Click "Wrong card?" on the badge overlay to see alternative matches. You can also use the Search tab to look up any card manually by name.

Installation

Install the SlabScore extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, visit any supported marketplace listing and the analysis badge will appear automatically.

Troubleshooting

Badge not appearing: Make sure you're on a supported page (eBay item, TCGPlayer product, PriceCharting game). Try refreshing the page.
Wrong card detected: Click "Wrong card?" to see alternatives, or use the Search tab to look up the correct card.
Extension not updating: Go to chrome://extensions, find SlabScore, and click the reload button.
Sign-in issues: Make sure pop-ups are allowed for slabscore.io. Try signing out and back in.
